Your Tasks

• You are engaged in customer-specific engineering in the field of design using relevant norms, guidelines, and engineering standards
• You will develop technical drawings and layouts for plant concepts and detailed design in different project phases based on guidelines and internal cooperation with product engineering
• You have the responsibility for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, particularly adapting general arrangement drawings, 2D and 3D models including BOMs and specifications
• You are involved in procurement processes with suppliers and external service providers for the mechanical design of our plants
• You are tasked with checking the technical feasibility of specific customer requests and product adaptations
• You handle the processing of customer queries and the customization of existing products
• You participate in developing system solutions with existing products
• You support the responsible bidding, sales, or project manager in direct customer contact
• You transmit customer feedback and market insights to product management and product development

Your Profile

• You hold a degree in mechanical or design engineering or equivalent education with further training
• You possess experience in the development, project planning and implementation of mechanical structures
• You have a deep knowledge of mechanical and design engineering according to international rules and regulations
• You are experienced in the use of CAD software (SolidWorks®) and PLM systems
• You show confident demeanor in front of customers and have an eye for customer-oriented solutions
• You possess very good knowledge of MS Office
• You are fluent in English, additional languages, especially German are a plus
• You have quick comprehension and enjoy analytical and creative activities
