CAREER OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an experienced Promotions Coordinator to join our Marketing team based in our Halifax, NS office. The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for working with both Marketing & Purchasing teams to oversee the logistics and execution of all launches and promotions. Our ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a collaborative team spirit, and demonstrates exceptional communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, promotions, or related roles, with a proven track record of planning and executing successful promotional campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities for working with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Professional Beauty & Spa Industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software.

Responsibilities:

  • Converse with manufacturer to ensure timely arrival of all promotions and launches
  • Allocate and distribute promotions to all store locations
  • Maintain current price lists for all brands
  • Communicate to all relevant departments regarding changes to any upcoming promotions
  • Input data for reporting
  • Gather and update allocations for large account(s)
  • Oversee logistics for all samples and promotional items
  • Assist in the creation of supporting materials as required, such as deal sheets
  • Handle all reporting requests
  • Act as a direct liaison between the Marketing and Purchasing teams
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of all MBS business and client information.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety protocols are followed
  • Demonstrate our company culture and values
