This position is a Property Administrator role for Lansdowne Shopping Centre in Richmond. Schedule is Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00 pm in office.
About you
You enjoy interacting with a variety of individuals. You will bring outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a positive demeanor.
As a Property Administrator, you will be involved in all aspects of property management of the shopping centre while reporting to the General Manager.
You will be part of the National Retail Real Estate Management Services team.
Lansdowne Centre is being redeveloped into a master community with retail and residential buildings. The role will offer you the opportunity to experience working at a redevelopment property. Projects of this scale are rare.

In This Role

  • You develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • You respond in a timely manner to tenants.
  • You will communicate work requests to operations team, security, and janitorial.
  • You support the General Manager by preparing regular ownership reports with accuracy on time.
  • You shall be responsible for all administrative tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collection of sales, work orders, service requests, property maintenance, insurance compliance, database management, and vendor compliance requirements.
  • You will be responsible to ensure office supplies and equipment are stocked and in working order.
  • You will be the face of the administration office, including reception duties.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within commercial real estate.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities to provide high-level service to tenants needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.
  • Basic commercial accounting knowledge.
  • Experience working with Excel.
  • Experience using MS Teams.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Familiarity with Yardi real estate software.
  • Accounts payable – processing invoices (coding, entering, and checking for accuracy).
  • Accounts receivable – rent collections.
  • Familiarity with retail property management.
  • Have or in the process of obtaining a BCFSA Rental Property Management License.

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $48,100 to $65,000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
