JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Investigate and settle routine and less complex property damage claims. Provide quality service and ensure prompt and equitable settlement of claims in line with Corporate policies and standards.
As a Property, Bilingual Claims Representative, you’ll be at the heart of what we do best: helping people. You’ll work alongside a passionate and diverse team of adjusters who are experts in helping customers get back on track after a loss.
People will count on you to effectively communicate and settle property claims both online and over the phone. You will help our customers through difficult times, demonstrating empathy and strong listening skills as you investigate a wide variety of claims through to completion. You will be responsible for helping our customers using a variety of different technological tools to provide expedient and efficient service. Plus, we have multiple different roles within Claims, and that means tons of opportunity for you to grow your career in ways that are meaningful for you.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required
  • 1-2 years of claims experience preferred
  • Demonstrates a passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, capable of working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and priority management skills
  • Strong aptitude for technology with excellent computer skills
  • On-going commitment to self-development
  • A college diploma or a university degree is preferred
  • Willing to pursue your Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
