WHAT YOU WILL DO ON A DAILY BASIS:

• Analyze client needs and advise them;
• Collect underwriting information and negotiate terms with insurers;
• Present clients with offers tailored to their needs;
• Develop and maintain lasting business relationships with clients and suppliers;
• Monitor renewals and premium collection;
• Offer consulting services on ethics and regulations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE:

• DEC in property and casualty insurance or equivalent;
• A property and casualty insurance broker’s license (businesses) issued by the AMF, and/or a license from the insurance institute (PAA, FPAA) with a commitment to obtain a property and casualty insurance broker’s license for businesses
• 5 years of experience in business insurance (underwriters welcome);
• Good knowledge of civil liability insurance, professional liability insurance and directors’ and officers’ liability (an asset);
• Bilingualism required (French and English);
• Knowledge of the LDPSF, regulations and ethics (an asset);
• Proficiency in office tools (MS Office suite) and the Applied System (TAM) application (an asset);
• Excellent customer service, negotiation and persuasion skills;
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and achieve results.
