THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring a high-quality living experience for residents. You’ll oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance while leading a team that consistently exceeds service standards.
We are looking for a skilled leader who is passionate about operational excellence, team management, and delivering exceptional customer service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma, with post-secondary courses an asset. WHMIS and First Aid training preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in building operations, including expertise in mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC systems.
  • Solid understanding of general building construction and ability to read construction drawings.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to mentor teams, build relationships, and communicate effectively (oral and written) in English.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is an asset.
  • Availability: Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

  • Criminal background check required.
