We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Property Management Accountant to join our team. The Property Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our property management operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices and providing essential financial insights that support our property management strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the property management sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, along with hands-on experience with accounting software and property management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions related to property management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for managed properties.
- Monitor and reconcile tenant accounts, ensuring timely rent collection and addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for property management operations, providing insights on financial performance and variances.
- Collaborate with property managers and operational teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and report any inconsistencies to senior management.
- Prepare financial documentation for audits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in property management accounting.
