Description:
Staffmax is assisting our downtown Vancouver client with the hire of a temporary Property Management Agent to assist with the daily operation of their multi-unit residential building- the successful candidate will be a resilient, patient, and reliable worker covering a desk with a variable daily workload, and using their customer-service acumen, teamwork, and common sense to deliver effective assistance to tenants as required.
This assignment is based out of a modern residential building that includes a full kitchen in the office, covered/gated parking, a rooftop terrace with views in every direction, and an experienced and friendly onsite maintenance team that will be assisting with work orders.
This assignment is projected to last approximately 4 weeks to cover the desk. While this assignment is temporary, our client has permanent positions available within the organization and will actively consider the incumbent for transition into a permanent role once this assignment is complete.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience with customer service and vendor/facility management is a strong asset
- Prior experience working in environments that require working with a team to address and solve customer issues is a strong asset
- Prior experience managing multi-unit housing is an asset but is not required
- Knowledge of Yardi software is preferred, but this can be taught
Responsibilities:
- Daily walkthroughs of the property to determine areas of need
- Assisting tenants with their needs and concerns, including maintenance requests
- Working with commercial cleaning teams to address janitorial and cleaning needs
- Working with the on-site maintenance team to coordinate and action any work orders submitted to the office
- Completion of reports as required
- Escalation of issues as required
- Other duties as required
