Description:

Purpose
A Property Manager is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of Digital Realty’s Non-White Space areas. Additionally, the Property Manager provides administration and organizational support to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of all activities in Operations, optimizing the usage of office buildings and exterior surfaces. The Property Manager ensures that Digital Realty standards, policies, and procedures are implemented in their property or portfolio. They also provide operational support to Finance in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, monthly performance reports, and variance reports, understanding and explaining variances.
Job Magnitude
Latitude: The Property Manager reports to the Manager Property Operations & Service Planning or Group Manager Property Operations. The position focuses on executing the property management strategy. The Property Manager works closely with country Site teams and Finance to agree and drive the implementation of Property Management locally and/or in the sub-region.
Level of Impact: The Property Manager plays a leading role in the standardized, compliant, and efficient operations of property management-related activities.
Budget: Reports on actual vs budget in the country and/or across sub-region, provides input to country budgets, and is accountable for the efficient deployment of approved budgets in the country and/or sub-region.
Responsibilities and Duties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or comparable experience.
  • Significant role-related experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial terms and principles; ability to analyze and conduct complex financial decisions.
  • Ability to resolve situations or complaints from customers, employees, or management.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC and electrical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Experience with acquisitions and implementing new systems and procedures is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for training and orientation purposes
