Ideally, you will bring demonstrated knowledge and understanding of residential property management, an understanding of both state based residential tenancy and general property laws, hold a strong track record of effective engagement with internal stakeholders and possess robust commercial acumen.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in real estate, business management, or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarisation with RMS and Newbook highly regarded
  • Organised, with excellent attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple concurrent prioritie

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

[RW1] We are seeking an organised and experienced Property Manager to oversee and administer Discovery Parks’ growing number of permanent resident and annual occupant sites.
This newly created role will be responsible for further developing and standardising our internal processes and providing ongoing support to park management across the country. The role will have a strong focus on ensuring systems and procedures in connection with permanent residents and annual occupants are administrated appropriately and to ensure our national operations remain compliant with state based regulatory frameworks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain best practice systems and processes for park managers in connection with the management of permanent resident and annual occupant sites.
  • Review new Permanent Resident and Annual Occupant applications to ensure required documentation is issued and approval process are followed.
  • Assist park managers and regional operations managers with compliance audits and remediation programs.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders during the acquisition of new park properties and the development of existing properties. This includes the review and transition planning for existing residents.
  • Monitor outstanding fees and assist with the recovery process.
  • Provide support in response to Permanent Resident and Annual Occupant requests to undertake works to existing dwellings as well as other general enquiries.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of applicable state tenancy legislation and regulations.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
