East Sussex County Council is a forward thinking, modern local authority with a dynamic property department dedicated to managing the council property assets, to enhance the operation of our premises and ensure best use of our resources.
The property Systems team is looking for a skilled Property Performance Officer, with a strong understanding of property performance and metrics, who would be managing property information and facilitating collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders. The role requires Microsoft Office and database experience and communication skills via email, teams and telephone and being able to work to deadlines as part of a team will be key.
This role directly supports the property performance manager, liaising closely with all Property teams, contractors and directorates, to guide and support them with the use of property data via our current property asset management system.
The Property Performance Officer will provide technical and operational support to the Property Performance Manager and other Property teams and will be responsible for the collection and coordination of property data and information in the council’s portfolio of buildings
The successful applicant will assist in the selection and maintenance of a variety of data sources programs and responsible for gathering, managing, and centralising property-related information and data into our property management system. Combining these data sets to create comprehensive report suites and facilitate analysis and forecasting, supporting the strategic management of the ESCC property portfolio.
A good understanding of the property function in local government and performance reporting would be ideal; however, training can be given to the successful candidate.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
