Description:
TE HAEATA/THE OPPORTUNITY
Courthouses need to be fit for purpose, complying with legislative and regulatory requirements, and meeting the diverse business needs of the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice staff, other agencies working from the courthouse on a regular basis. They also need to meet the needs of court users that enter our courthouses from time to time and reflect the partnership relationships the Ministry has with local iwi and hāpu.
The Property Project Manager will lead and deliver a range of projects in both size and complexity and provide leadership to the team members within their project space.
The role includes building strong relationships with key internal clients and includes supporting other project managers and coordinators with the aim of creating continuous development of a high performing team.

To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in the industry of building design, construction, and property infrastructure, with a strong understanding of property project management principles
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills, with significant experience influencing continuous improvement across the project delivery lifecycles.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, having great communication skills both written and verbal.
- A sound understanding of All of Government project procurement principles.
- an understanding and appreciation of cultural issues and concerns Tikanga Māori.
