Are you a skilled solicitor with a passion for property law? Do you thrive on delivering exceptional legal services in a dynamic environment?
We’re looking for a Property Solicitor to join our dedicated legal team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of supporting the Council, its Executive, Committees, and Sub-Committees, ensuring they receive comprehensive legal advice and representation.
You’ll be assisting in providing a top-tier legal service to the Council and its various departments, offering expert legal advice on residential and commercial property matters and managing your own caseload with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking someone with demonstrable experience of managing major commercial and residential conveyancing transactions with minimal supervision. You should have the ability to independently handle your own caseload, solve problems systematically, and assess and present business and legal risks effectively.
Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to gather relevant information in complex situations and produce clear, effective legal documents. You’ll also need excellent management skills and a thorough knowledge of English Law, Property and Conveyancing Law, and Land Law.
Applicants must be solicitors or barristers qualified in England (with a practising certificate or rights of audience) or Fellows of CILEX with a minimum of 5years plus post qualification experience.
