Responsibilities:

This position forms day to day support on property matters including licences, simple contracts and contract and transaction management. You would support one of the Senior Managers who is responsible for working with the Property Function.

Your day will involve engaging with stakeholders within the Property Function who input to the contracts e.g. Property, Planning, Construction with support from the SM responsible for the Property Function. This will include:

  • Advice on how to best structure arrangements.
  • The negotiation and drafting of the legal documentation to support those arrangements.
  • Continuous improvement and best in class contract advice
  • Maintaining MI and one version of the truth contracts repository in respect of those contracts assigned to the role.
  • Supporting corporate governance for all contracts assigned to the role.
  • Attending project meetings (where required)
  • Providing input to legal processes and standard documents
  • Ensuring legal advice is delivered in a timely, clear and accessible way and gives appropriate weight to the business unit’s commercial requirements and aims
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver the business unit’s legal requirements.
