THE JOB POSITION :

With a strong ambition to further accelerate our profitable growth we are now looking for an additional Property Underwriter to our Commercial Lines underwriting team in Copenhagen – a team of in total 22 highly skilled and motivated underwriting professionals.
The role is based in Copenhagen and will focus on our Danish and Norwegian markets however as part of the Nordic Underwriting Team you will work closely with colleagues across the Nordic countries in all our business segments.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Underwriting and/or specialized broking and placement within the Property business area
• Preferably +5 years’ experience within underwriting, broking & placement, Property related risk engineering and/or claims handling
• Relevant academic qualifications
• Business experience from an international business environment is meriting
• Fluent in Danish and/or another Nordic language and professional level in English
• Demonstrated good communication and commercial skills
• Self-driven and proactive with a “Can do attitude”
• Proficient in MS Office tools and the ability to learn for this role relevant applications.

• Market facing underwriting of both new and renewal business for the following products:
• Property – both Multinational Primary and Excess business
• Terrorism & Political Violence
• Key Account Management for selected clients.
  You will report to the Head of Major Accounts for Denmark & Norway.

Other responsibilities will be to:

• To underwrite new and renewal business according to defined underwriting guidelines and local business plans
• Manage the pipeline, profitability and risk of the Property business area
• Contribute to the ongoing product development and maintenance
• Sales & Market related activities:
• Represent and promote Chubb to brokers and thereby increasing Chubb´s market visibility
• Maximise cross selling in collaboration with other lines of business.
