DysTech is Federal contractor serving primarily the Department of Defense (Army, National Guard Bureau, Navy, etc.) and other civilian agencies.
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Proposal and Capture Manager to join our dynamic Business Development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing winning quality proposals for government clients. This position requires an excellent proposal writing and project management skills with full attention to details.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in proposal development, capture and project management within federal government sector. Preferably programs and projects related to DOD Army, Navy, Airforce, NGB, or similar agencies
- Federal Proposal Management: 3 years (Required)
- Federal Project management: 2 years (Required)
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Excellent strategic planning abilities with a focus on market analysis and sales growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have a minimum of Bachelors degree
- Must have excellent experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams etc.)

Responsibilities:
- Lead the capture process for new federal business opportunities, from identification to proposal submission.
- Design and implement customizable proposal templates to streamline the proposal creation process and ensure consistency across all documents.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to gather information, develop proposal content, and ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling proposal narratives, incorporating technical details and highlighting our company’s unique value proposition.
- Edit, proofread, and format proposal documents to ensure clarity, compliance, and professionalism.
- Collaborate and work with other staff members to develop and maintain resumes templates that effectively showcase the qualifications of proposed personnel.
- Assign timelines and milestones for successful quality proposal submission
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to foster collaboration.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
- Utilize software tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting on progress.
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition.
