What you’ll be doing
PROPOSAL COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of the marketing team, the Proposal Coordinator will report to the Marketing and Proposals Team Lead and work closely with the Partners and other subject matter experts in the company to craft compelling content. Your key responsibilities include:
- Producing compelling proposals in response to RFPs and RFIs
- Writing, editing, and coordinating content with in-house staff and sub-consultants
- Work with various software (primarily Adobe InDesign) to create layouts of proposals and presentation materials
- Supporting team members with writing and editing various report content
- Creating and maintaining marketing collateral, including project cutsheets, project descriptions, staff resumes, templates, presentations and marketing packages
- Coordinating, writing and preparing award packages
- Writing industry relevant blog posts for the website and intranet
- Maintaining a database system into Monday.com to manage various project data
- Supporting other department requests as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Team Lead
- Leading by example in all areas of work
QUALITIES & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or other relevant qualifications
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills
- At least two years of proposal writing or other forms of professional writing
- Experience in the AEC industry would be considered an asset
- Proven professionalism and ability to work with confidential information
- Proven problem-solving skills and an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and teamwork
- Intermediate/advanced experience with Adobe InDesign
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Must be willing to work in an in-office setting full-time
