We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team in our Penticton office. If you have technical expertise in construction, craft professional and accurate proposals, and have a flair for document design and layout, this is the perfect role for you.
This is not a remote opportunity but there is the possibility of a hybrid work situation for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Writing, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
- 1-2 years experience in construction, project management, business development, or a similar role
- 2+ years developing and producing construction proposals or similar documents requiring technical writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and deliver presentations effectively
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint and an aptitude for learning various computer applications
- Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) an asset
- Tactful, diplomatic with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly variable environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties
- Ability to utilize judgement and work with minimal supervision
- Able to take the initiative to liaise with other departments and/or external sources
Salary - $70,000 to $90,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with internal experts to develop strategic approaches to differentiate our business
- Coordinating, facilitating, and/or supporting proposal pursuit and kick-off meetings
- Assisting with Request for Proposal/Request for Qualification documents from clients
- Coordinating with trade partners to gather the required documentation
- Supporting the Project Management team to facilitate a smooth handover once a project has been awarded
- Supporting additional activities within the Business Development team
