POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in aerospace and defense innovation, is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the development of high-impact proposals. This role offers the opportunity to shape mission-critical solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing proposal activities, and ensuring alignment with industry and compliance standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience; or
• Master’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Industry Knowledge:
• Proven success in managing defense or aerospace sector proposals.
• Strong understanding of advanced missions, technologies, and product applications.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Creative problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Required: Department of Defense Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
• Preferred: Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.

• Proposal Development & Management
• Oversee all aspects of proposal creation, including scheduling, resource coordination, and deliverables management.
• Work closely with the Capture Manager to translate winning strategies into structured, compelling, and compliant proposals.
• Implement detailed review strategies such as Pink Team, Red Team, and Gold Team evaluations.
• Ensure timely production, submission, and delivery of proposals.
• Strategic & Technical Expertise
• Leverage knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, and Cloud Native solutions to develop forward-thinking proposals.
• Provide real-world examples of successfully managed proposals aligned with aerospace and defense industry missions.
• Stay informed on evolving technologies in cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar domains to address complex client needs.
