Mott MacDonald is an employee-owned engineering, management, and development firm working in North America and around the world. We have a reputation for bringing technical excellence to some of North America’s most prominent and challenging projects and for working across multiple sectors, such as transportation, energy, water, and the built environment. Globally, we are one of the largest and most diverse firms of our kind with over 20,000 staff working out of 180 principal offices and delivering projects in 150 countries.
Mott MacDonald’s business is growing! We are seeking an experienced, skilled Proposal Manager to lead the development of complex proposals and presentations to win competitive projects in North America. As a proposal professional, you will work closely with senior technical staff, business development professionals, bid managers, and team members in Canada and the wider regional team. Together, you will lead compelling and winning proposals for both large and strategic projects across North America with a focus on Canada.
This role requires exceptional leadership skills to drive the process and coordinate and develop compliant and compelling responses to RFQs/RFPs, client interviews, and presentations. As a Proposal Manager you will provide guidance, training, and assistance to the team in effective proposal writing, coordination, and preparation of presentations. The successful candidate will drive the process, effectively convey the messaging identified through prepositioning, including win themes, differentiators, and value propositions and comprehensively customize all aspects of the proposal.
