Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the ERP Technical Owner, you will report to the Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure and play a key role in the implementation, configuration and transformation of D365. You will work with integrators, D365 users, executives and company stakeholders to ensure that our ERP system meets our needs and supports our growth. Following ERP go-live, you will lead the ERP enhancement and support strategy and explore new D365 technologies and solutions to improve our processes, performance and IT systems. You will also be involved in various IT projects related to the D365 environment, providing technical input and guaranteeing the quality of the solution. You will be the guardian of the D365 environment, ensuring its security, stability and scalability over time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own and ensure the functional and technical cohesion of the D365 environment from end to end.
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Enterprise Architecture teams to integrate specifications and requirements into the systems architecture of D365 and Commerce Tools.
  • Support IT business analysts in delivering high-quality functional requirements, test cases, and documentation.
  • Guide the IT support group to enhance their knowledge of the D365 environment and deliver comprehensive documentation.
  • Participate in the monitoring and reporting of the progress, status and risks of the D365 projects, and implement corrective actions as needed in collaborations with another team.
  • Guide and follow up on Microsoft releases of D365. Make sure all teams are aligned and ready for new releases. Plan tests in advance with other teams of all used cases/processes, including tests of extensions and integration if needed.
  • Facilitate discussions with both business and technical stakeholders to translate key business needs into a technical vision and solutions.
  • Continuously research current and emerging technologies, proposing changes when necessary.
  • Monitor the progress, status, and risks of D365 projects, implementing corrective actions in collaboration with other teams as needed.
  • Ensure alignment and readiness for Microsoft D365 releases, planning tests in advance with all relevant teams.
  • Continually learn about the Dynamics 365 Platform, providing insights on beneficial evolutions.
  • Ensure D365 projects comply with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage change and training activities related to D365 projects.
