Re:Car dba SLATE, is a new US company that is exploring development in the electric vehicle space.
Founded in early 2022, Project Re:Car dba SLATE spent its formative months establishing a leadership team and the product definition.
Overview:
The Propulsion Systems group at Re:Car LLC is looking for an energetic, fun, organized, experienced Propulsion Systems Calibration Tools and Analysis Engineer to join our growing team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Developing automated tools to help with calibration development and validation. The tools should help digest large number and large sizes of data to help report out on performance, efficiency, durability and safety of all calibration areas.

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the Propulsion Systems Engineering group, the Tools and Analysis Engineer will be responsible for creating executable tools using Matlab, Python, C, etc to help data mine and report trends to help identify issues and problems that need to be addressed prior to production.
  • Develop reports and documentation formatting/automation.
  • Automated and User-Friendly interface to tools.
  • Support production ramp and field issue resolution
  • Provide program deliverables on time per major development milestones
  • Calibration change management (documentation of calibrations and changes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field
  • 5 - 8 years in relevant experience
  • Experience in problem solving
  • Strong technical research and writing skills
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the full product life cycle
  • Reactive and/or DFSS black belt
  • Previous Hybrid or electrification experience
  • HW/SW knowledge and validation/release experience
