Protein Powder Food Technician

We are seeking a talented and experienced Protein Powder Food Technician to assist in the development, production, and refinement of our protein powder products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and experience in formulating protein-based products, with a keen eye for quality, innovation, and regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in food formulation, specifically with protein powders or dietary supplements.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
• Experience with ingredient sourcing and working with flavour houses is a plus.
• Creative mindset for developing innovative flavours and product concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for conducting tests and troubleshooting formulations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

• Develop and optimize protein powder formulations, ensuring high-quality taste, texture, and nutritional profiles.
• Select and source raw ingredients, including protein types (e.g., whey, plant-based, casein, etc.) and flavouring agents.
• Ensure products meet all regulatory standards (e.g., FSANZ, FDA, or relevant certifications such as organic, non-GMO, or vegan).
• Work closely with production teams to oversee blending, packaging, and quality control processes.
• Conduct tests and trials to ensure solubility, shelf stability, and consistent quality of the final product.
• Stay updated on trends in the protein powder and supplement industry to inform product innovation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align products with consumer demands.
