Prototype Technician - Stamping/Machining

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED) with three (3) years related experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education or experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Previous machine shop experience
• Ability to operate machine tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to work with the following tools or machinery:
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Scales
• Crane
• Hilo
• Mill / Lathe / Grinder
• Break press.
• Press
• Horizontal & Vertical Saw
• MIG/TIG welder
