Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Provisioning Analyst to support our Derivative Logistics Team in Tukwila, WA. The Seattle Derivative Logistics Team supports KC-46, P-8 and new Derivative programs in the Puget Sound region, which are dynamic, fast paced franchise programs that are in the early stages of fleet deployment and sustainment support.
Provisioning (Parts Data) is the management process for determining and acquiring the range and quantity of support items necessary to operate and maintain an end item of materiel. Its documentation is the analysis of engineering source data documents used to identify, recommend, and determine spare and repair part requirements. It provides the customer with the analytical decisions that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements. It impacts several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as life cycle demands.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ year of experience gathering, preparing, and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle.
- Minimum of beginner level with Microsoft Excel
- 1+ year of experience working in a structured logistics database such as SLICWave or PowerlogJ
- 1+ year of military supply and maintenance experience.
- Currently possess an Associate’s degree or higher
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- Experience working with or supporting military aircraft.
- Current Secret U.S. Security working with or supporting military aircraft
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates closely with editorial, software development, customer support, product management, and services to develop high-quality user-friendly content.
- Develops, maintains, and edits single-sourced content according to department and company quality and development guidelines.
- Participates in the software design stages to help identify and resolve gaps between requirements, technical design, and to improve understanding of the workflow to help the end-user.
- Balances multiple projects, including projects beyond normal scope, and works as an integral part of the Scaled Agile team.
- Ensures content and delivery mechanism meets end-user needs.
- Provides regular updates on project status.
- Influences product team by educating on our processes and standard methodologies.
- Contributes to shared knowledge and industry best-practices across a larger team.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to determine content needs, and schedules. Meets all scheduled deliverables. Create a variety of types of content based on customer needs, priorities, and program schedules.
- Contribute to departmental best practices, including style guidelines, organization, configuration management, tools, and procedures.
- Perform user and task analyses to create dynamic content that meets multiple audience needs.
- Collaborate with other types of content creators to create a more comprehensive customer experience.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
