Description:
THE PROVOST’S FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME
Edinburgh Business School Dubai is continuing to expand and as part of our commitment to developing early career academics, we are delighted to launch our inaugural Provost’s Fellowship programme.
We are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious colleagues who would like to join our successful School. Through the two-year Fellowship programme, we will support the development of the Fellows in relation to learning, teaching and research. The Fellows will join one of our three Business School Departments which are Management, Accounting, Economics & Finance and Marketing & Operations and work collaboratively as part of the academic teams.
This programme has been designed for recent PhD graduates (or those in the final stages of viva preparation) who do not have significant teaching experience and are aspiring for an academic career. All of our Fellows will be mentored by experienced academics and will have an individual development plan.
ABOUT US
Edinburgh Business School (EBS) Dubai is the largest of five Schools in Dubai. We have staff across three campuses and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate taught and research degrees across a wide range of discipline areas. We are a global University and this is reflected in the way that we manage programmes and courses. Student numbers on our Dubai Campus continue to grow, which provides the opportunity for us to attract talent to grow our academic capacity.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for highly motivated and qualified candidates as part of our exciting new academic fellowships programme. Applicants must have a doctoral qualification, and we anticipate that these roles will be most useful to the careers of those without significant teaching experience.
These posts will allow you to develop your portfolio of teaching and research experiences which will set you up for a successful career in higher education.
