DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking Psychiatric Technician candidates to support the mission at Lovell Federal Health Care Center

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Psychiatric Technician/ Mental Health Tech Certification
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • US Citizen
  • NACI background check

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in a variety of treatment modalities including but not limited to biofeedback, stress management, and group therapy
  • Provide care for patients utilizing proper infection control and safety techniques as planned and/or ordered. Document per policy and notify the mental health provider or nurse in charge of any abnormal or unusual findings in a timely manner
  • Present or facilitate a variety of health and wellness programs, including stress management, suicide intervention, and smoking cessation. Conduct various programs in support of the clinic
  • Provide care to mentally ill or emotionally disturbed patients and participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs
  • Perform a range of diagnostic support duties which include but is not limited to drawing blood for lab studies; collect and label specimens; take vital signs; and assist the doctor in a variety of diagnostic examinations
