Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner £29,970-£36,483 (NHS AFC Band 5) 37.5 hours per week (Shift pattern to be agreed with Line Manager) Based: Ribban Court, Warrington Please note that this service operates between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-5pm Fridays, therefore we ask that you must be available to work one late shift at least once a week, which will be agreed with the Line Manager. Mental Health Matters’ ultimate aim is to strengthen the voice, rights and independence of service users, carers and family and friends. You must be a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or a Qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker and can provide evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem. You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of how anxiety and depression and present in Primary Care.
Please note if you are due to qualify shortly, your application will be considered however a university transcript of progress to date will be required. You should have a real interest in helping people with anxiety and depression to achieve a level of recovery which will improve their overall wellbeing and day to day life. You will offer treatment through different modalities: face to face, telephone, groups and cCBT. As a qualified PWP we will look at continuously developing your skills by offering 4 training days which are based on identified training requirements.
Previous training has included OCD for step 2 and Long Term Conditions. Other training opportunity provided is step 2 supervisor training if identified as an individual training goal.
