Lifemark is growing and we need you! As a Partner in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), Lifemark is seeking clinical psychologists to join their interdisciplinary teams of health providers who deliver medical, psychological, psycho-social and vocational rehabilitation services to eligible veterans. Psychologists also enjoy serving the needs of other client populations on work-related disability with a focus on occupational rehabilitation.
You belong here, as clinical psychologists play a critical role in interdisciplinary rehabilitation assessments and mental health diagnostic assessments in order to identify the rehabilitation needs and rehabilitation treatment plan of clients. Our clinical psychologists also provide psychological treatment (individual, group and within interdisciplinary teams) for more complex cases and may provide clinical supervision and mentorship to other mental health team members.
At Lifemark, we have strong national and regional mental health psychologist leads who develop and oversee clinical standards and processes and who support the professional needs of our mental health clinicians. You are joining a larger team of like-minded professionals!
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university.
- Current registration in good standing with the Psychological Association of Manitoba (competency with adult populations and clinical psychology (asset: health/rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology).
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment.
APPLIED EXPERIENCE
- Conducting psychological assessments with adults, including diagnostic assessments using psychometric tests of psychopathology and personality.
- Providing various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches (e.g., CBT, CPT, ACT).
- Experience in measurement-based care.
- Working in interdisciplinary teams (e.g. occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, vocational rehabilitation specialists).
- Delivering telehealth and virtual care.
ADDITIONAL ABILITIES
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams.
- Efficient with required clinical documentation.
- Able to manage a diverse caseload within dynamic work setting.
- Demonstrated work ethics, integrity, reliability, maturity, and flexibility.
