An exciting opportunity exists for a Psychologist - Mental Health Clinician, Deliver Psychological services as a member of a multidisciplinary mental health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
The Older Persons Mental Health Service provides contemporary, person-centred care delivered in a clinical community specialty to address the bio-psychosocial needs of consumers aged over 65 years within the mental health system.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

• Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of psychological services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols. For complex or novel cases, you will seek direction from clinical seniors as appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data). Ensure that time spent across clinical and non-clinical work is in keeping with assigned requirements.
• Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
  Remuneration value up to $128,706 p.a., comprising salary between $76,747 - $112,805 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3).
