About the Role
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver Addiction services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.
- Deliver high level profession specific clinical alcohol and other drug treatment services including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of complex care needs of participants and integrating initiatives with high degree of independence in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Undertake high level and non-routine duties including provision of clinical advice to other multidisciplinary and Psychology, Social Worker or Occupational Therapy team members.
- Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in the performance appraisal and development plans.
