About your opportunity
Permanent full-time opportunity

This position will deliver Psychology services for consumers requiring Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury Services, in accordance with professional standards and legislation consistent with the Mental Health Strategy for Queensland and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.

• Deliver Psychology assessment, treatment and interventions as part of the multi-disciplinary team, on an individual and group basis.
• Participate in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols relating to mental health rehabilitation with a recovery focus.
• Undertake professional supervision and development, as agreed with the Professional Senior Psychology, to ensure ongoing development and provision of quality client care.

Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a. comprising:

• Salary range of $124,435 to $133,901 p.a. (HP3)
• Annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

• The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Psychology. Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required.
• Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
• Possession of relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in Psychology would be well regarded for a position at this level.
• Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded.
• This position requires the incumbent to operate a class ‘C’ motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
