POSITION DETAILS

The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Tenure-Track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2025, subject to budgetary approval. Hiring salary will be in the range of $79,132 to $94,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
We are seeking a colleague whose teaching and research interests focus on any of the following areas: developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, and health psychology (applicants should be aware that we are an experimental psychology department and do not offer clinical or counselling programs). Successful applicants will hold a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline; however, it is imperative that the successful applicant holds at least one advanced degree (master’s or Ph.D.) in Psychology. We seek outstanding candidates with the capability to engage and inspire undergraduate and graduate students in their academic work, and who will show initiative in contributing to the department’s programs and curriculum development. Successful applicants will be able to instruct a variety of undergraduate courses at both introductory and advanced levels, as well as establish and maintain an independent, active and externally funded research program.
