JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Our client is a mental health psychology facility specialising in providing in-patient care, individual and group therapy, and addiction management services. They are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of their patients through comprehensive, evidence-based psychological practices. They are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Psychology Interns to join their dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to train and assist seasoned psychology professionals in their day-to-day activities, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position: Psychology Intern
Location: Lekki Phase1, Lagos

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist psychology professionals in conducting individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Support in-patient care by helping with patient assessments and monitoring progress.
  • Contribute to addiction management services by providing support to patients undergoing treatment.
  • Engage in psychological research and assist in the preparation of reports and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions, offering insights and learning from experienced practitioners.
  • Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (required).
  • Basic knowledge of psychotherapy and psychological research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in mental health and a commitment to patient care.
  • Knowledge of writing a psychological report
  • Basic knowledge of presentation and psychotherapy
