Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Psychology Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
  • Foster students’ understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and practical applications.
  • Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about human behavior and mental processes.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Psychology curriculum and participate in departmental activities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 or KS5 in a secondary or further education setting.
  • A passion for Psychology and the ability to bring the subject to life for students.
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
