Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Psychology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
- Foster students’ understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and practical applications.
- Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about human behavior and mental processes.
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Psychology curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 or KS5 in a secondary or further education setting.
- A passion for Psychology and the ability to bring the subject to life for students.
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
