JOB OVERVIEW
Psychology Teacher (Remote / Online / Part-time / Full Time), 0.6 (3 days per week) or full-time from September 2025 or an earlier start in April 2025.

Due to our rapid growth, we have an employment opportunity for an experienced and inspiring Psychology Teacher who can teach throughout the school.
Applications are sought from teachers with proven specialism in particular secondary key stages,
We are looking for teachers with these essential skills and traits:
- Qualified teacher status.
- Experience teaching the secondary age range.
- Experience teaching groups of students.
- A strong desire to ensure all students succeed, and an understanding of strategies to support those with SEND and mental health difficulties in the virtual classroom.
- Knowledge and experience of a range of teaching approaches and techniques, including those focused on maximising the potential of the online environment.
- Strong diagnostic ability and a passion to guide students in their learning.
- A strong understanding of the assessment requirements, and of the principles of assessment for learning.
- The ability to engage students from varied backgrounds.
- A belief in the value of learning from home, and of flipped learning.
- Enthusiasm for and competence in making the most of technology in education.
- Experience in collating and creating resources for online learning.
We would especially like to hear from anyone with these additional highly desirable skills:
- Experience teaching Edexcel and AQA Psychology at GCSE and Cambridge at A level
- Proven experience of making innovative use of technology to stimulate engagement and facilitate the best outcomes in online teaching and learning.
- Experience creating highly engaging learning content for online delivery.
While the subject teacher is the focus of this opportunity, suitably qualified and experienced applicants are invited to express interest in being considered for additional roles such as Mentor role and Content Creator, addressing this in their personal statement if relevant.

We operate term dates broadly in line with those in the independent school sector.
Our curriculum for Years 7 and 8 takes advantage of Key Stage 3’s flexibility. Alongside the foundational curriculum, students encounter a diverse array of topics. The key stage 3 curriculum combines the Inner core subjects of English, Maths, and Science (Cambridge Lower Secondary) and the outer core is made up of History, French, German, Spanish, Global Perspectives, Digital Literacy, PSHE, Classical Civilisation, Computing, Music and Art & Design.
Pupils commonly study between 5 and 9 subjects in Years 9-11 and 3 - 4 subjects in Years 12-13. These include a combination of the core subjects: Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry and Physics - and electives: Geography, History, Business Studies, Psychology, Global Citizenship, Computer Science, French, Spanish, Art and Music.
