Description:

Shorelines Casino Peterborough is currently seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-time Surveillance Operator. This this position is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of the property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Secondary School Diploma
  • Post-Secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience is considered an assetAbility to obtain and maintain a Gaming License

Responsibilities:

  • Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
  • Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
  • Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access; reports violations to the Supervisor, Surveillance
  • Maintains logs and records
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees
  • Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Protection of company assets and patrons; both internal and external
  • Protection of gaming integrity for GCGC and the province of Ontario
  • Strict adherence to the Surveillance code of conduct and mandate
