RSB - Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials Association seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as our PtX Sustainability Manager, an ideal mid-career position for someone interested in furthering an international career in an organisation focused on sustainability and industry transformation.

REQUIREMENTS
Required - Education, experience, and qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in leading projects in one of the following fields: PtX and sustainability (e.g., in a PtX initiative, sustainability consultancy or research institute); Renewable energy and energy systems; or Water sustainability and management.
- Professional knowledge of sustainability standards, frameworks and policies relevant to renewable energy and/or PtX (e.g., EU RED approach for RFNBOs, green hydrogen regulations).
- Experience researching sustainability, renewable energy, PtX or relevant fields.
- Proven experience managing stakeholder engagements and giving presentations at meetings and events.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as environmental science, engineering, sustainability studies, or similar.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficient in all Microsoft programs (Office, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)

Responsibilities:
As PtX Sustainability Manager, you will report to RSB’s Programme Director and lead RSB’s activities and projects in the Power-to-X field, focusing on the fuels and chemical sectors.
You will be responsible for these main areas of work:
- Support the design and implementation of projects to promote sustainability in the PtX sector. In your first year, you will lead the development of a Sustainability Roadmap for PtX in the Asia Pacific Region, which includes managing a multi-stakeholder advisory group covering industry, investors, and policymakers. You will also support the Programme Director and Executive Director in designing further project and partnership opportunities.
- Lead RSB’s PtX Platform, a working group of RSB members aimed at co-creating knowledge and sustainability best practices for PtX technologies.
- Drive overall stakeholder engagement on PtX, engaging with relevant producers, end-users, academics, policymakers and NGOs on PtX sustainability, technology and growth topics.
- Be RSB’s PtX technical lead and ensure that learnings from projects and stakeholder engagements are adequately considered in the relevant RSB Standards and Procedures (e.g., RSB’s Advanced Fuel Standard)
