We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Affairs Advisor , Nordics to join our team in Norway. This role will report directly to the Head of Group Public Affairs and will be responsible for supporting public affairs activities across the Nordics, including Norway, Finland, Sweden, and the Baltics.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
- Strong understanding of the political and regulatory landscape in the Nordics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, or Danish).

Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE WILL BE:
- Monitor and analyze relevant policy developments, legislative changes, and regulatory trends in the Nordics that could impact Nexi’s business.
- Provide timely and strategic advice to senior management on potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulators, industry associations, and other relevant entities.
- Represent Nexi at industry events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for the company’s interests.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Regional Officer to ensure alignment of public affairs strategies with regional business objectives.
- Craft and deliver compelling messages to influence public policy and regulatory outcomes in alignment with Nexi’s business objectives.
- Prepare briefing materials, position papers, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and corporate communications, to ensure a cohesive approach to public affairs.Support the Head of Group Public Affairs in executing the overall public affairs strategy for the Nordics.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services or technology sectors.Proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement and advocacy in the Nordics.
