Responsibilities:

Manchester Metropolitan University Library & Cultural Services is seeking a collaborative and resourceful Public Engagement with Research Coordinator to join our Open Research team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting with diverse audiences.

As the Public Engagement with Research Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in increasing awareness of the university’s research activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery and assessment of public engagement events.
  • Conducting data analysis and reporting to measure the impact of our efforts.
  • Providing administrative support to the Public Engagement with Research Manager.
  • Collaborating with researchers, doctoral students, and colleagues across the university.

This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development and networking. You will use your expertise to:

  • Develop resources and training materials for researchers and doctoral students.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on the Library website.
  • Contribute to a responsive research enquiry service.
