Description:
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contribute to the management of infectious and environmental hazards in Powys, support the response to any health protection incidents and support proactive health protection and promotion projects. Undertake delegated proactive health protection project work and activities to promote behavioural change interventions for Powys residents and communities, in line with agreed protocols. You will be expected to work independently in community sessions to deliver training, but also as part of a multi-disciplinary team to take on broader health related projects. Use excellent communication skills via telephone, Outlook, and Teams to facilitate working with colleagues who are based at different sites within Powys or working remotely.
Support the Health Protection Team with administration tasks if/as required, e.g., creating/maintaining spreadsheets for coordination of tasks, assisting with production of promotional/educational materials using PowerPoint or another package
