The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. The Public Health Nurse - Communicable Diseases will implement disease control measures, surveillance and follow-up activities in relation to notifiable infectious diseases, assist with outbreak management, and provide advice and education to other health professionals, members of the public, institutions, schools, aged care and child care centres.
