Job Description
Due to increased workload and securing of new clients, Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Consultant providing Procurement and Advisory Services in Ireland.

Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:-

  • Implement procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk;
  • Develop tender and contract documentation
  • Effectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports.

The duties of this role include:

  • Experience working with EU Procurement Directives and other relevant EU directives
  • Providing procurement support to public and private sector clients;
  • Drafting tender documents (PQQ, ITT/ITN);
  • Administering the tender process including co-ordinating meetings and clarification responses; and
  • Proactively working with the senior mangement team in end-to-end management of the procurement process.

Qualifications
-

5 - 10 years relevant experience in a complex procurement environment and a proven track record of conducting procurement activities in rail projects or projects of a similar scale / complexity.

  • Preferably possess degree related to engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement and/or be MCIPS.

Additional Information
