Responsibilities:

As the Public Relations & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company’s PR efforts, focusing on creating coverage of, and recommendations for, our payments solution category, helping increase brand awareness, and driving overall company growth. You will help build and maintain strong relationships with financial, technology, business, and industry-specific media, as well as managing PR events such as product launches, press conferences, and industry exhibitions. You will play a critical role in the strategic planning and execution of earned media campaigns to ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Global Communication Strategies: Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to develop, execute, and measure global PR and communication strategies. Focus on engaging key market segments and audiences, particularly in automotive, entertainment, and technology sectors.
  • PR Program Coordination: Organize and manage all aspects of PR initiatives, special press events, and programs. Secure maximum media coverage to build excitement and buzz around the brand across relevant industries.
  • Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership: Elevate brand recognition and establish the company as a thought leader among target audiences, key partners, influencers, and investors, helping position the company and its leaders as credible experts in our field.
  • Media Relations: Build and nurture strong media relationships, delivering press opportunities that enhance the visibility of the company’s leadership and brand story. Serve as the main point of contact for press inquiries while managing media outreach.
  • PR Materials: Craft PR materials such as press releases, pitches, bylines, blog posts, abstracts, award nominations, and contributed articles. Ensure messaging aligns with the company’s value proposition and its innovative contributions to the credit card processing industry.
  • Media Pitches & Storytelling: Develop and present engaging story ideas to reporters and editors. Establish FlexPay as a go-to source for media coverage on relevant industry trends and insights.
  • Event Participation: Plan and manage the company’s involvement in press tours, conferences, and events. Coordinate speaking engagements to position company leaders as industry experts.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Act as a key thought partner and architect in creating high-impact PR programs that support FlexPay’s growth goals and help the company enter its next phase of expansion.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, PR agencies, and media outlets to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize campaign success.
