REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in management or strategy consulting, with a specific focus on public sector advisory or transformation.
- Proven experience working at top-tier consulting firms, with a track record of delivering value to public sector clients.
- Strong understanding of public sector operations, government structures, policy frameworks, and regulatory environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA or master’s in public policy, Public Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Arabic fluency is required, along with excellent English communication skills.
- Experience working directly with government entities, ministries, or public sector organizations in the UAE or GCC region.
- Citizen and resident experience are preferred

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Public Sector Consultant (Associate Director) with over 8 years of experience to join our consulting team in a full-time role. This opportunity is perfect for professionals with a strong consulting background who have worked directly with government entities or public sector organizations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public sector operations, policy advisory, strategy development, and the unique challenges that come with public sector transformation.
As an Associate Director, you will work closely with senior government officials and public sector leaders to address complex governance, policy, and organizational challenges. You will play a key role in advising on large-scale public sector transformation projects, developing strategies to enhance public service delivery, and driving impactful reforms. You will also manage project teams, ensuring the delivery of innovative and sustainable solutions that support government modernization efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead public sector transformation projects, providing strategic advice and solutions to improve governance, policy implementation, and service delivery.
- Engage with senior government officials to understand their challenges and provide actionable recommendations for public sector reform and efficiency improvements.
- Analyse existing public sector frameworks, policies, and regulations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop tailored public sector strategies that align with government priorities, including digital transformation, process optimization, and regulatory reform.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with public sector objectives and seamless project execution.
- Present strategic solutions to government stakeholders, offering insights into best practices, global trends, and emerging technologies that can enhance public sector performance.
- Conduct research on public sector trends, including governance frameworks, fiscal policies, regulatory environments, and innovation in government services.
- Provide data-driven insights to support policy development, performance measurement, and public sector accountability.
- Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations that communicate public sector transformation opportunities and demonstrate the impact of proposed solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government clients, fostering trust and collaboration to ensure long-term engagement.
