Description:

The Public Speaker will represent United Healthcare Federal Programs at in-person events. You must clear Federal security and set up the carrier table with all application materials, promo items and banners; answer basic health, dental and vision questions, and provide health and wellness information.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Public Speaking skills
  • Able to travel 100% of the time - including possible air, train, and driving long distances
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to clients within designated areas
  • Flexibility to work any hours depending on business needs: early mornings, late evenings and possible weekends
  • Must have a personal computer or tablet and mobile phone for work purposes

Specific Duties:

  • Promote and educate Federal employees on medical, dental and vision products to increase enrollment and retain membership
  • Support members and/or perspective members by answering questions related to basic benefits’ information
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales Director or Account Manager responsible for the region

Locations and Areas of Hire:

  • Seattle, WA
  • Los Angeles & San Diego, CA
  • Memphis & Nashville, TN
  • Little Rock, Arkansas

Hours For Training and After Training

  • Training on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the Eastern Time Zone via Microsoft TEAMS
  • You need a personal computer/iPad to access training
  • Hours at Health Fairs vary and could be from 10am to 2pm up to 20-30 hours/week
  • Paid for each event (minimum of 6 hours), treachavel to and from event
