Electricity Planning and Policy (EPP) is seeking a PURA II, and will accept a PURA I, to join the Climate Change Initiative team. Under the general supervision of the Program and Project Supervisor, the incumbent will serve as an entry level technical and policy analyst. The incumbent will evaluate utility applications and Commission proposals, perform analyses, evaluate models, and provide written or oral presentations and testimonies making recommendations on behalf of the Public Advocates Office. The incumbent will participate in evidentiary hearings before the Commission, workshops, Procurement Review Group meetings, California Independent System Operator and California Air Resources Board proceedings, and other forums. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with members of the Climate Change Initiatives Section team on a variety of energy policy, analytical, and procurement review issues related to climate change policies.
