Description:
The Gallery wishes to recruit a Publications and Images Coordinator on a one year fixed-term contract. The purpose of this role is to enable the production of Gallery publications, facilitate use of digital images of the Gallery’s art collection and acquire third party content for Gallery use.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A third level qualification, in English Literature and/or Publishing, Creative Digital Media or related field
- Previous experience in the area of publishing, editing and /or image and rights management
- Strong customer service skills and experience in working with the public
- Excellent project management, administration, organisation, typing and planning skills with an ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
- The capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- An ability to work on own initiative and as part of an effective team
- Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of digital processes, Adobe Photoshop, website input and digital asset management
- An interest in working in the Gallery and a willingness to contribute to a positive working environment

The post will be subject to a satisfactory medical check and successful completion of a successful probationary period. Applicants must be fluent in English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Eligible candidates must be:
1. A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of the Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway; or
2. A citizen of the United Kingdom (UK); or
3. A citizen of Switzerland, pursuant to the agreement between the EU and Switzerland on the free movement of persons; or
4. A non-EEA citizen who has a Stamp 4 permission or a Stamp 5 permission.
Please note: A 50 TEU permission, which serves as a replacement for Stamp 4EUFAM after Brexit, is considered equivalent to Stamp 4.

Responsibilities:
- Input images, data and CRM related information to Capture, the department’s Digital Assets Management System and website www.nationalgalleryimages.ie
- Administration duties, including but not limited to: answering emails, phone enquires, filing, invoicing, liaising with customers and also helping with staff queries and images for lectures.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Publications and Images Manager.
