  • Negotiations: Negotiate purchasing conditions and contracts (both new and existing) to meet Safety, Logistics, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SLQDC) targets.
  • Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and positively impact the logistics department’s Profit and Loss (P&L).
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and monitor the performance of local suppliers, initiating actions to enhance their performance.
  • Reporting: Report on localization status, cost savings, and supplier performance ratings to the Procurement Manager and General Manager.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on Komatsu products, policies, and market developments for effective supplier management.
  • Coordination: Align with KLTD (Komatsu Japan) and local factories on supplier selection to ensure a unified purchasing strategy.
  • Representation: Represent the company in all supplier-related interactions.
