Due to our continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our central Finance team.
We are offering a basic salary up to £24,000, dependent on experience, plus an excellent range of company benefits.
The role will be based in Vertu House, Gateshead and will provide Purchase Ledger support across 3 high profile departments in the Group (Property, Marketing and Finance & Insurance) and a is a great platform to start or progress your career in accounts.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Process high volume of invoices
  • Match, batch, scan and coding of invoices
  • File all invoices, statements, remittances
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Process monthly payment run
  • Deal with any invoice discrepancies
  • Ad hoc duties

We are looking for a driven and talented individual. Previous experience from within the role is preferred, ideally from within the Motor Retail sector, but it is not essential as full training and support will be given.
You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work well under pressure. You will need excellent IT and Numeracy Skills and have experience of writing and reporting, following Instructions and procedures.
